Namoi Valley Christian School (Wee Waa) is located in Northwest NSW.  We are currently seeking to appoint a Head of Secondary to commence at our Secondary campus in Term 1 next year.  The primary responsibility of this position will be to lead our Secondary staffing team to provide quality education for our student community.

We are a school which seeks to faithfully partner with parents to provide a high standard of teaching and learning which is founded on bible-based beliefs.  We are also in the midst of a significant growth stage and are seeking an energetic, creative and faithful educator who is passionate about Christian Education and leading our growing high school into the future.

The Role

You will be a passionate educator who is looking to make the next step in your career. The role will also involve a teaching component (0.5 FTE) in line with the skills of the successful applicant.

We are looking for applicants who have:

• NESA Registration (or eligibility)

• WWCC Clearance

• Evidence of a genuine Christian faith

• a demonstrated active involvement in a local church

• strong verbal and written communication skills

• a commitment to the provision of quality communications when interacting with parents and the wider community

• capacity to show initiative

• demonstrable alignment between personal philosophy of education and the vision and values of NVCS

• demonstrated desire for lifelong learning
