Our Daily Bread Ministries (ODBM) is seeking an Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting our Australian ministry and enabling our teams to serve people with God’s Word every day.

Our Daily Bread Ministries is a global Christian ministry with more than 85 years of faithfully helping people connect with God through the life-changing wisdom of the Bible. Serving millions of people across more than 150 countries and over 60 languages, ODBM exists to make Scripture understandable and accessible to all.
In Australia, ODBM partners with churches, ministries and supporters to distribute trusted devotional resources and Bible engagement tools that are biblically faithful and culturally relevant.
About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Director (Australia), the Operations Manager provides both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership across the day-to-day operations of the Australian office. This role exists to create strong, Christ-centred operational foundations so ministry teams can focus on serving people well.
You will lead a diverse operational portfolio including:
People leadership and team culture
Ministry Relations and Supporter Care operations
Distribution, logistics and inventory
Facilities, systems and vendor management
Governance, compliance, WHS and risk
Continuous improvement and operational reporting
This is a highly relational role, working closely with staff, volunteers, ministry partners and suppliers, and contributing as a trusted member of the Australian leadership team.
About You
You are a committed Christian whose faith shapes how you lead, serve and steward responsibility. You see your vocation as an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Christian ministry.
You will bring:
3–7 years’ experience in operations management (not-for-profit, ministry or service environments highly regarded)
Strong people leadership skills, including staff and volunteer oversight
Experience across operations such as customer/supporter service, logistics, facilities or systems
A continuous improvement mindset with confidence using data and digital tools (CRM experience such as Salesforce desirable)
Sound understanding of WHS and compliance obligations
Excellent communication skills, sound judgement, integrity and humility
You are organised, calm under pressure, and motivated by work that truly matters.
